How about this ... what if you had one of those feelings , but you didn't know at the time who it was for so you couldn't act on it....then after it is to late it all makes sense to you ......how do you deal with that ?

by troubled mind ini think i have a few times in my life, but the one i had most recently really shook me up.
it was really a re-occuring thought and feeling more than anything else .i preceived it as something happening to me when in reality it happened to some one close to me.

I'm glad to hear other ones have experienced these feelings too. I don't know how to explain it either , but instinct seems pretty good to me . I think some people are just more in tune to it than others .

Strange Sudden DF'ing/Baptism Nullification ATTN. LURKERS
by unique1 inok well per my post yesterday most of you know i was suddenly disfellowshipped after my letter of baptism nullification.
i called the presiding overseer to ask why.
i specifically listed in my letter that i was not to be disfellowshipped nor was i disassociating myself.

That is very interesing that the elder said it is up to the individual as to whether or not they would speak to you.......with this general announcement then doesn't it leave it up to each person 's conscience every time there is an announcement no matter for what ? He said the person would not be in trouble for talking to the person ?

no names would even have to be used, i would think they would know who it was about.
calls from all over the states and if any called from other countries.

I think the local paper idea is a good one ...........Or perhaps a call toElder Vern asking for an interview so the paper will have the KH's side of the local abuse story that is going on there.....that might shake things up enough to get the elders involved to see that Mrs. Richie calms down some.

Regarding JW's using My Space accounts...
by Riverwatcher ini haven't been around in awhile, so apologies if this topic has been brought up recently.. my daughter (not a jw) had an interesting discussion today with her brother (who is a jw).
she was on the computer and was confused because her sister in laws my space account was no longer there.
she goes to check her brothers account; it too is gone.

I can understand the concern over my space accounts if you have young teenagers .The problem exists that kids give out way to much information about themselves along with pictures, and I'm sure sicko's just love it. As a parent myself I have always checked my sons account to keep up with who he is talking to and such (and he is 18 now ). Mostly it is just a way kids keep in touch with each other .Like everything else in this life be smart , careful , and on top of it . What we do not need is paranoia the WTBS likes to spew forth to instill fear and take over their followers conscience and choice on things.
